48. Finish

48.1.

The end-of-race signal will be given at the Line as soon as the leading car crosses it after the scheduled time has elapsed.

If the leader is stopped, the signal will be given as soon as the next-best placed car crossed the line (Article 5.3).

48.2.

Should for any reason (other than under Article 47) the end-of-race signal be given before the scheduled time has elapsed, the race will be deemed to have finished when the leading car last crossed the Line before the signal was given. Should the end-of-race signal be delayed for any reason, the race will be deemed to have finished when it should have finished.

48.3.

After receiving the end-of-race signal, all classified cars must proceed directly to the Parc Fermé without any unnecessary delay, without receiving any object whatsoever and without any assistance (except that of the marshals if necessary).

Any classified car which cannot reach the Parc Fermé under its own power will be placed under the exclusive control of the marshals, who will direct the car to the Parc Fermé.
